KaKa and WaWa

This blog is created for Erica and Eva. They are a great joy to daddy and mummy, and hopefully their growing up can be captured here as each day passes by too quickly. Every moment with them is a memorable one, although at times they can drive daddy and mummy crazy. On reminisce, everything is worth it as they bring immeasurable happy times to those around them.

Ka Ka goes to Thailand (Part 2)

We went to the Pattaya Elephant Village on the 2nd day of our stay in Pattaya.

Daddy and Ka Ka fed the elephants, while mummy took pictures.

Mummy doesn't want to be too near the elephants, she's afraid of the elephants...

There was an elephant show, the show here is the 'professional' type hor... It shows the elephants doing their work, logging, bathing and elephants doing traditional ceremonial rites, etc... Not the usual elephant show with elephants doing 'monkey tricks'....

It was also quite boring lah and it is almost 2 hours long! *Big yawn*.

Overall, it was quite interesting and also in Singapore you don't find such elephant parks.

Daddy brought Ka Ka along for the short elephant ride at the end of the show. Ka Ka cried becoz she doesn't like elephant ride... So Mummy went to 'rescue' her from the elephant, but only after she had got some shots of Ka Ka on the elephant :D...

The rest of the time at Pattaya was spent lazing at the pool, eating or resting in the hotel room... Ka Ka love the day bed in the room, Mummy took some pictures of her idling on the sofa bed...

Off to Bangkok on the 3rd day in Thailand....

Bangkok was boring for Ka Ka coz its just a lot of shopping...

The highlight was visiting the Grand palace. We took the boat becoz the taxi driver says that's the fastest way to go to the Grand palace.
Ka Ka slept on the boat on the way there..

Mummy took some pictures of the grand palace... the place swee hor? Ka Ka also took some pictures with Daddy and Mummy.
The day at the palace was a very warm day, everyone were tired and thirsty. Ka Ka got to drink some lime juice.

The rest of the stay in Bangkok not so interesting to tell... Just shopping and eating and more shopping... Daddy says the things in Bangkok no longer cheap leh, so we didn't buy much...

Ka Ka got only 1 pair of 'chiong' birkenstork shoes from Bangkok! *Gasp* That's all?! Ya lor. Coz Mummy says the baby stuff there bo swee lor. Wa Wa got a new bikini.

Ka Ka can't stop playing with the lamp switch at the Bangkok hotel. She does it non-stop - 'on', 'off'', 'on', 'off', until Mummy or Daddy got pek chek and make her stop.

That's all for Thailand... We shall be back, but next time when we go there, Mummy say must bring Wa Wa along liao...

Here's Ka Ka on the plane home, plugging her ears, should be the air-pressure upsetting her. Bye Bye Thailand!

Ka Ka goes to Thailand (Part 1)

Last week there was 2 public holidays, so daddy and mummy decided to bring Ka Ka for a short trip to Bangkok and Pattaya.. Little Wa Wa never get to go coz she's still little, and kan cheong spider mummy scared she can't cope with 2 babies, so wa wa was left at her por por's house... Poor thing hor..
The day before we left for Thailand, mummy took this picture of the 2 girls..

Mummy take picture swee hor :)

Flight to Thailand...

Ka ka was bored to tears on the plane coz it's a budget flight, so no entertainment, no inflight food, no toys.. lucky clever mummy brought toys and snacks and drinks to stand-by..

At first, Ka ka was ok.. enjoying her snacks and drinks and amusing herself..

But she bawled her eyes out when the plane was landing, probably because her ear was hurting from the air pressure or was it because it was her nap time ?? Don't know..

Mummy says next time if bring Ka Ka out again, must take those bigger planes.. those got personal TV one, so that Ka Ka can play games and watch cartoons...

Plane landed at bangkok, Ka Ka at last feel asleep.... and then 2 more boring hours of land ride to reach Pattaya.. Lucky for everyone, Ka Ka slept most of the way there.

At last we reached the Hard Rock Pattaya! Daddy took this lovely picture of the view from our room.
